Everyone’s scalp & hair is a little different, but consistency is key! You might see an instant "Daily Gloss" shine & softness. We recommend a consistent ritual for 60-90 days to witness the true transformation in your hair’s strength, vitality & health.

🌱 Will this weigh my hair down or make my hair look greasy?

Actually, its the opposite! Unlike heavy synthetic oils that sit on the surface, our Elixir is crafted with "dry" botanicals like Grapeseed & Tsubaki. These sink in instantly almost as if your hair is drinking them up. For oily scalps it may seem strange to add oil to an oily scalp, but overactive oil is often a sign of dehydration. Ingredients like Jojoba mimics your natural sebum "teaching" your pores to find balance & harmony.

🌱 Can I use the Elixir if I have very thin or fine hair?

Definitely. Most people with fine hair are scared of oils, but ours is different because of Broccoli Seed. It acts like "weightless silk". Just stick to 1–2 drops on your ends. If you’re doing a scalp ritual you’ll be washing it out anyway, leaving your hair feeling bouncy & clean!

• Just a tip: If you’re doing a deep overnight ritual, you can wear a satin wrap or a loose braid to keep your hair off your face while you sleep!

🌱 Is this safe for colored/blonde hair?

Yes! Your hair will love it. Coloring & bleaching can leave the hair feeling "straw-like or porous". Our Elixir helps smooth the hair cuticle back down, locking your color in so it stays vibrant longer. Plus Raspberry Seed acts like a "natural sun hat" helping to protect your blonde from turning brassy in the sun.

🌱 Can I use it if I have a Keratin Treatment, Perm or Chemical Straightening?

Yes! These treatments can sometimes leave hair feeling "thirsty". Since our Elixir is 100% plant-based & free from harsh chemicals or salts, it won't strip your treatment. It helps maintain that "fresh-from-the-salon" shine for longer & helps bring back the moisture that usually gets lost during the salon process.

🌱 Can I use it as a heat protectant?

Think of the Elixir as "after-sun care" for your hair. While the oils create a natural buffer it isn't a replacement for a professional heat-shield if you are using flat irons. However, applied to damp hair before blow drying, Meadowfoam & Broccoli Seed help the brush glide through & protect against warm air. After styling add just a few drops it helps "calm down" any heat damage, seals your ends & gives you that gorgeous, glossy salon shine!

🌱Can I use the Elixir before the beach, pool or sauna?

Yes! It’s the best way to "weather-proof" your hair! Salt, chlorine & intense sauna heat are all moisture thieves. Our Elixir acts like a protective shield to keep the goodness in & the harsh elements out.

🌱 My scalp is always itchy & flaky, can this help?

Yes! Think of this as a "calming hug" for your head. The Kawakawa & Black Cumin work like a natural band-aid to soothe redness & stop that "must-scratch" feeling. It’s the perfect ritual for softening dry flakes & restoring harmony.

🌱 I have sensitive skin/eczema. Can I use this?

Our Elixir is packed with plants known for their soothing properties. We keep our essential levels very low (under 1%) to keep it as gentle as possible. As with all plant-based products we recommend a small patch test behind the ear or the inner elbow 24 hours before your first full ritual just to be safe.

🌱 Is the Scalp & Hair Elixir safe to use during pregnancy & breastfeeding?

Yes! We know how much your hair can change during this time & our Elixir is a great way to show it some love. Our blend is 100% natural & made from plants. We use a very tiny amount of essential oils (less than 1%) which is generally considered safe for mamas-to-be. However, because every journey is unique, we always suggest showing the ingredient list to your doctor or midwife just to be 100% sure you’re comfortable! It is important to note that our Raspberry Seed Oil is pressed from the seeds of the fruit and does not contain the same properties as Raspberry Leaf Tea. It is simply a nutrient-rich antioxidant for your scalp & hair.

While our Elixir is a high-performance superfood for your scalp, it is a cosmetic botanical product not a medical treatment. It is designed to nourish the scalp & support the appearance of hair density & vitality. It is not intended to cure medical hair loss, stimulate growth in a medicinal way or treat scalp conditions.
